Frequently Asked Questions

Technical answers for procurement, sourcing, and compliance teams. Each response includes applicable conditions and available documentation.

Orders & Minimum Quantities (MOQ)

1. What is your MOQ?

The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) depends on the product type and the degree of customization required. For non-customized products, there is no MOQ requirement; we maintain a large inventory of stock in our warehouse, allowing for rapid shipment. The final MOQ for customized products will be confirmed once we have received your specific specifications (including width, gram weight, and printing requirements) as well as information regarding the shipping destination.

2. Can I order a small quantity to test before bulk?

Yes. We support trial orders and samples. Sample production takes 3–7 days after specifications are confirmed. Trial orders are recommended to validate cushioning performance and packaging fit.

3. Do you offer wholesale pricing for large volume orders?

Yes. Volume discounts are available. Pricing is based on quantity, product configuration, and shipping terms. Container‑load pricing can be quoted for distributor orders. Please provide your estimated annual volume or container frequency.

Customization & Printing

4. What customization options do you offer?

Customization is available for:

  • Thickness / grammage: 50–150 gsm
  • Width: up to 2000 mm
  • Length: any custom roll length
  • Color: natural kraft, white, or custom dyed colors
  • Logo printing: water‑based, eco‑friendly inks (flexo or digital, up to 4 colors)
  • Packaging format: rolls, sleeves, padded mailers, document envelopes, glassine bags, custom die‑cuts

Please share your target product dimensions, artwork, and quantity so we can confirm feasibility and lead time.

5. Do you offer custom printing with my brand logo?

Yes. We print logos on rolls, sleeves, and mailers. Please provide vector artwork (or high‑resolution files, minimum 300 dpi). We will send a proof for approval before production.

6. What is the lead time for custom orders?

Standard production (non‑custom) is typically 15–25 days. Custom orders typically take 20–30 days, depending on printing complexity and sizing confirmation. Rush production may be available; please request feasibility.

Factory & Quality Assurance

7. Are you a factory or a trading company?

We manufacture in‑house and produce honeycomb paper and finished packaging (rolls, sleeves, mailers). We do not rely on third‑party middlemen for core production. Factory visits are welcome by appointment.

8. What certifications do you have?

We hold ISO 9001 for quality management. FSC® documentation can be provided upon request, subject to material sourcing. For compliance needs, we can provide supporting documents such as CoC (where applicable), REACH declarations, and batch‑specific moisture content reports (typical range 8–12%). Specific document availability depends on your product configuration and destination requirements.

9. How do you control quality?

Each batch is tested for thickness, grammage, density, tear strength, and moisture content. We also perform random transit simulations (drop tests, compression tests). Inspection photos or QC documentation are available upon request for bulk orders.

10. Can I visit your factory or schedule a virtual tour?

Yes. Factory visits and virtual tours are available by appointment. Please contact us with your preferred dates and order focus.

Shipping, Lead Times & Logistics

11. What is your typical lead time?

Production lead time: samples 3–7 days, standard bulk 15–25 days, custom 20–30 days. Shipping transit time varies by route, season, and carrier; we will confirm after you provide destination and shipping method (air freight or sea freight).

12. Do you have ready stock for immediate shipment?

We maintain inventory for standard sizes (common widths and grammages). Stock availability and shipping timing for stocked items can be confirmed within the same day after we check current inventory.

13. Do you ship internationally? Which countries do you ship to?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Main export markets include the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Shipping options (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP) are confirmed based on destination and product configuration.

14. What are your payment terms?

Common terms include T/T (wire transfer) and L/C. For first trial orders, advance payment is typically required unless otherwise agreed. Terms are confirmed case by case for long‑term contracts.

Product Performance & Applications

15. What products can honeycomb paper protect?

Typical applications include glassware, ceramics, cosmetics bottles, small electronics, home decor, furniture edges, industrial parts, and e‑commerce shipments. For heavy items (10–30 kg), high‑grammage (100–150 gsm) or double‑layered honeycomb is recommended. Final suitability depends on product weight, shape, and packing design.

16. Is honeycomb paper as strong as bubble wrap?

Honeycomb paper provides cushioning through a cellular structure and conforms well to irregular shapes. Performance depends on product weight, dimensions, and packing design. For critical shipments, we recommend testing a sample.

17. Is honeycomb paper waterproof or moisture‑resistant?

Honeycomb paper is paper‑based and not waterproof. For shipments exposed to rain or high humidity, pack inside a corrugated box or kraft mailer. For cold‑chain goods, use a moisture‑resistant liner before applying honeycomb paper as secondary cushioning.

18. Can honeycomb paper be reused or recycled?

Honeycomb paper can be reused multiple times as long as it retains structural integrity. It is recyclable through standard paper/cardboard recycling streams where available. Reusability depends on transit conditions and remaining material strength.

19. Do I need a dispenser to use honeycomb paper rolls?

A dispenser is not required (hand‑stretching works), but it improves packing speed and consistency. We offer simple tabletop dispensers. For high‑volume fulfillment centers, we can recommend compatible automatic dispensers.

Compliance & Sustainability

20. Is honeycomb paper compliant with EU PPWR 2026?

Our honeycomb packaging is paper‑based and contains no plastic lining. We can provide supporting compliance documents and material declarations for your internal assessment. Final compliance determination is based on your product use case and local regulatory interpretation.

21. Will switching to honeycomb paper help me avoid plastic taxes?

Because the packaging is paper‑based (no plastic lining), it may reduce exposure to plastic‑material related fees where applicable (e.g., UK Plastic Packaging Tax). We can provide material declarations to support your reporting. Final tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction and product configuration; please consult your compliance team.

Samples & Getting Started

22. Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We offer free samples or low-cost sample packs. Sample production is typically completed within 3 to 7 days after confirming the specifications. Please contact us and let us know your required width, gram weight, and product type.

23. How do I request a quote?

Please use the contact form or email us with the following information:

  • Product type (rolls / sleeves / mailers / bags)
  • Quantity (trial or bulk)
  • Specifications (width, grammage, length, color, printing needed)
  • Shipping destination

After we receive complete information, we typically respond within 24 hours with a quotation and lead time range.

24. What information should I prepare before contacting you?

To provide an accurate quote quickly, please prepare:

  • Dimensions (length × width × height) of your product or required packaging
  • Preferred material type (if known) and grammage range
  • Printing requirements (logo, colors, number of sides)
  • Estimated quantity and desired delivery date

If unsure about specifications, send us a photo or a reference link — we will recommend suitable options.

25. Do you accept small trial orders for startups and small businesses?

Yes. We accept trial orders from startups and small businesses — for example, 500 pieces or 500 kg. Many long‑term wholesale partners began with small test orders.
